COURT ADVOCACY SERVICES
Uche appears in the Local Court, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, Federal Court of Australia, Family Court of Australia and Tribunals as instructed by solicitors to act on behalf of clients. In that capacity,she acts as the mouthpiece of the client or of the instructing solicitor (if any) and must exercise the forensic judgments called for during the case independently, after the appropriate consideration of the client’s and the instructing solicitor’s instruction where applicable.
Court Advocacy Services include conferencing with the Client in the company of his or her solicitors, drafting pleading documents, settling affidavits, preparing for the case, appearing in court or tribunal on the scheduled day of hearing, reviewing transcript evidence and drafting closing submissions. As a Barrister and Specialist Advocate, Uche prides herself on possessing the requisite skill to help clients navigate the complexities of our criminal and civil justice system.
LEGAL ADVISORY SERVICES
Legal Advisory services provides insight into the legal issues of the case and the options available to the client. As such, it empowers the client to make an informed decision. Uche provides legal advisory services to a vast range of clientele. Relying on the factual matrix of the case and relevant documentary evidence, she is able to assess the client’s case and form an opinion on the reasonable prospect of success, if the matter was to proceed to a hearing.
